BLUE PEAKS APARTMENTS, Queenstown – A Smart Stay in the City

My stay at the hotel was pleasant overall. The rooms were comfortable and equipped with a little functional kitchenette and a decent size fridge, although there were some partial views. The staff was friendly and helpful, but there was an unexpected attempt to charge extra for credit card payment. The location was excellent, just a short walk into the town center, but parking fees could be a concern. The dining options were a bit meagre, though the ingredients were fresh.

Our apartment's location was sensational, nice and close to the centre of town with brilliant views over Lake Wakatipu and surrounding mountains. The rooms were grubby and tired, offering views across town towards the gondola, accessed in a corner under a dark stairwell after an Ultimate Hikes Routeburn Track hike based in Queenstown. The staff was really friendly and helpful, especially when we needed to move rooms. However, the dining options were meagre, limited to Italian products.
